As promised, we took a little video of our Lupa x Freddie litter having some fun with lots of students in our local college. Seeing as Jacqui works part time as a lecturer of animal science there it gives us this fantastic ability to condition the litters that we breed and raise. We still have females available from this litter.

The puppies are now 7 weeks old and absolutely full on....! Full of drive, confidence and character. Our hands, arms and legs are taking a bit of a beating but we love it all none the same :) Tomorrow we are off to take the puppies for a trip into our local college to meet all the students in a completely new environment, video to follow shortly.
Our Lupa x Freddie litter at 5 weeks, first time seeing with our Umbrella test - Pass :) We still have 4 females available from this special litter.
Yesterday we took our 6 week old Pepper x Bliksem litter into the local college where Jacqui works as a part time lecturer, this is just part of our extensive imprintment programme and is a great way for us to socialise and test our puppies in a new environment whilst being handled and interacted with by 30 + students and lecturers. I think it was safe to say all puppies took it completely in their stride :)
We still have 5 superb females available from this special combination of Lupa BRN 22005 x Freddie BRN 25848. The litter is proving to be as good as we knew they would be, full of drive and confidence. If you are looking for a future working prospect then you will not find better available in the UK at the moment. Please email darren@extremusdogtraining.co.uk or call on 01994 230 632 for more information.
From the moment that our puppies are able to leave the whelping box, we use a wheelbarrow to transport them around our facilities. This is just one part of our foundation and imprintment programme, with something as simple as this meaning that our puppies will never get travel sick and are used to motion from as little as 3 weeks. We always go the extra mile with the working puppies and dogs that we train and supply, making sure that they are absolutely bomb proof!
We have some really super homes lined up for our Pepper x Bliksem litter and we cannot wait to see how they grow and develop, all puppies from this special combination are now SOLD, thank you for all you interest. We still have females available from our Lupa x Freddie combination, photos and videos to follow shortly.
At this age we can start all of our environmental desensitisation programmes, we have two purpose built areas one inside and one outside with multiple surfaces, textures, heights and articles for the puppies to interact with and explore. We have been playing noise desensitisation sounds to the litter since they were first able to hear, now at 3 weeks and 6 days old, it is clear they are not at all fazed by some new and strange sounds. Pepper BRN 24918 x Bliksem BRN 23347 - 3 females remaining
I would like to introduce our stunning Lupa BRN 22005 x Freddie BRN 25848 litter. 11 healthy puppies, 1 Male and 10 Females. We have 5 females still remaining from this special combination.
Today was the puppies first trip outside, the smell and texture of grass with a little tarpaulin for added environmental desensitisation thrown in for good measure. More to come over the coming days :)
Imprinting the smells and sounds of children is an important part of raising puppies, creating positive associations around children will lead to a more well rounded and stable dog. At 14 days old the puppies go to smell, see, hear and interact with Lilly and Lucy for the first time. There will be many more times as they develop that they will get this opportunity.
The litter is 13 days old today, now the fun really starts. All the puppies are starting to open their eyes and ears and are starting to react to noises inside the whelping room. I cannot wait until we can let them explore the world and get to showcase the quality and ability of this litter as they grow and develop. We have 4 females still available for reservation.
19/08/2015 Puppies are now 8 days old and growing rapidly, we have so far started both the Early Neurological Stimulation programme alongside the Early Scent Imprintment programme, both of these programmes have been shown to lay the foundations for superior working dogs. This is just the start of our puppy foundation programme with much more to come. There are 4 females still remaining from this litter.
Well after what seemed like the longest whelping on record, 12 stunning dark pigmented puppies have been born, Pepper and all the puppies, 7 males and 5 females are all in great health and doing well. We have yet to catch up on being with her every step of the way, but could not be more pleased with the final outcome. Keep checking back here for videos and more photos over the coming weeks as the litter grows and develops. #manstoppers #knpv #belgianmalinois #tohottohandle #extremusdogtraining
